My time in Manhattan has come to an end. It was nice doing something productive this winter break, as I chose to not stay on campus to take classes. I really enjoyed my internship. I worked with amazingly smart and funny people and learned a lot of new information and skills. Living in Manhattan with my Mom was also great, it’s just such a hub for food, diversity, and unexpected beauty.
Spring Semester is upon us! I already have a ton of meetings inputted in my planner and a new work schedule in the mailroom. I also need to complete my Blue Hen Ambassador written and evaluation exams as well as delve into my 5 new classes. I am excited though. I really do believe that I am happier and more productive when I have a regular schedule and goals to achieve.
This semester, I am taking some interesting classes:
American Art 1865-present (ARTH231)
Art of Latin America (ARTH232)
Physical Geography: Land Processes (GEOG106)
U.S. History Since 1865 (HIST206)
Introduction to Theatre and Drama (THEA104)
I’m excited about all new classes! I am super excited about the art history classes I am taking this semester, the professors are amazing. Unfortunately, I have to take a science class, but sometimes those classes are nice to break up all the reading and writing I have to do otherwise!
I’m looking forward to a great semester. Happy Super Bowl Weekend!
Being home is always nice. I love having my own space, my car, seeing my parents, showering without shoes, not going to class, and all the other obvious amenities that I don’t have at school. Although sleeping for at least 9 hours a night is great, I miss being at school. I’ve found my second and what is becoming my primary home at UD, and I really do love it. I’m excited to go back and see my friends who I missed so much being home and find out where I am living next year!!! Here are some pictures I took while being home, one of which is something I miss the most while I am away: my car!
I am so happy it is finally spring! I am also so upset that this happens to be one of my busiest weeks! I go home on Friday but I have one exam standing in the way. This week has been so stressful for everyone so everyone is pretty torn between studying and enjoying the weather—which is why people tend to study and tan simultaneously! I couldn’t help taking some pictures of the pretty trees around our amazing campus! ☀
St. Patrick’s Day was probably one of the most fun days I have had at school yet. Everyone was out because it was such a gorgeous day!!! The nice weather makes the campus so lively. It was a great way to spend the last weekend here before going home for Spring Break—I’m so excited :)
