Summertime Tunes
My friends and I enjoy going to concerts and festivals during the summer. I went to Dave Matthews Band earlier in July which was awesome and recently just went to Lollapalooza! Lollapalooza is a huge 3-day music festival in the heart of Chicago in Grant Park (I only went for one day though) featuring bands such as The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Avicii, Paper Diamond, The Black Keys, Florence and the Machine, and SBTRKT. The music and venue was seriously amazing! My pictures will be posted below.
Shortly after Lolla, I went with my best friend to see our favorite band live, Coldplay! Coldplay played at the United Center which is also in Chicago and put on a really incredible show for their Mylo Xyloto tour. They gave everybody wristbands that lit up in neon colors to the music making everybody feel part of the show. I took two videos for any Coldplay fans: one of Paradise which is a little newer and a classic oldie In My Place. Seeing some live music was a great way to wrap up the summer!
